Send research contest application, rules, procedures, and proposals to various universities and higher education institutions in the target group.
March 6th to May 23rd, 2017
Applications to the Higher Education Research Contest are open for submission. Applicants are required to submit a form, along with three copies of their research report in one file.

9:00 – 9:30: Opening Ceremony of the Higher Education Research Contest by RMUTT President at Wittayabongkot meeting room, Faculty of Science and Technology, RMUTT.
9:30 – 16:00: Present research at the Faculty of Science and Technology, RMUTT by contest group:
- Mathematics and Statistics (Room ST-1 906)
- Computer (Room ST-1 301)
- Chemistry (Room ST-1 601)
- Biology (Room ST-1 501)
- Physics (Room ST-1 701)
16:30 – 17:00: Announce results of the Higher Education Research Contest / Awards ceremony / Prize money for contestant at Wittayabongkot meeting room, Faculty of Science and Technology, RMUTT.
Note:
- All research projects must be presented in oral presentation format along with a 15 minutes PowerPoint presentation per team and 10 minutes Q&A session by the research committee.
- Research projects may be submitted individually or in groups of no more than three members.

Higher Education Research Contest details
- Participants must be undergraduate students
- The contest will be separated into five groups as follows:
2.1: Mathematics and Statistics
2.2: Computer
2.3: Chemistry
2.4: Biology
2.5: Physics
- Contestants will be separated into the following categories: Individuals or groups of no more than three members.
- Contest process
4.1: Download the application form from www.sci.rmutt.ac.th and submit the application form by Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017 via the following channels:

4.2: Contestants must be present their research project in oral presentation format along with a 15 minutes PowerPoint presentation per team and 10 minutes Q&A session by the research committee on Tuesday, May 30th, 2017 from 9:30 – 16:00 at Chalerm Phrakiat 6th Anniversary Building, Faculty of Science and Technology, RMUTT, by groups as follows:
- Mathematics and Statistics
- Computer
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Physics
- Contest Award
Details of the 15 Contest awards
- The team with the highest score in each group will be awarded a certificate and THB 7,000 (X 5 awards).
- The first runner-up in each group will be awarded a certificate and THB 5,000 (X 5 awards).
- The second runner-up in each group will be awarded a certificate and THB 3,000 (X 5 awards).
Note:
- The winner of the Higher Education Research Contest will be awarded a trophy and plaque of honor.
- Contestants will be awarded a medal as follows:
- Gold medal: 90 – 100 points
- Silver medal: 80 – 89 points
- Bronze medal: 60 – 79 points
All contestants and professors that advise teams will be awarded a certificate of participation in the Higher Education Research Contest.
