RMUTT Joins Forces with Thai SME Confederation and AI Entrepreneurs Association to Launch “AI Center for SME”
On July 25, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Professor Dr. Krischon Phumkittipich, Vice President and Acting President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), led a delegation from the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology (ARIT) to attend a strategic meeting with the Thai SME Confederation and the Artificial Intelligence Entrepreneurs Association of Thailand.
The meeting, held at the Thai SME Confederation headquarters, marked the official launch of the “AI Center for SME” initiative—a collaborative effort to empower Thai small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to harness artificial intelligence (AI) for business development, productivity enhancement, and long-term sustainability.
Discussions during the meeting included setting a timeline for the signing of a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between RMUTT, the Thai SME Confederation, and the AI Entrepreneurs Association. The MOU will serve as a cornerstone for long-term collaboration focused on AI-driven innovation and digital transformation in the Thai SME sector.
This strategic alliance underscores RMUTT’s commitment to bridging academia, industry, and innovation to support national economic development through emerging technologies.
