Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) launches the project ‘Inspiring Entrepreneurial Dreams for New Generation Entrepreneurs’

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art, the President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, presided over the launch of the training project ‘Inspiring Entrepreneurial Dreams for New Generation Entrepreneurs.’ The opening speech was given by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kriengsak Sangpradit, the head of the Enterprise Incubation Unit, at the RMUTT ‘s conference hall. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art, the President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, stated that the project aims at fostering RMUTT students who have innovative and creative ideas by instilling skills based on the 5H principles toward becoming innovators under the student development strategy to think entrepreneurially. The trainees in this program gained knowledge from the speakers about inspiration, commercializing research, trends in interesting future careers and businesses. They also learned how to apply this to create innovation-based products and services that lead to job creation and successful new entrepreneurship.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kriengsak Sangpradit, the Enterprise Incubation Unit Manager, revealed that the purpose of this training session is to augment the knowledge and understanding, and to prepare students who have innovative ideas and creative concepts. The goal is to promote products and services in innovation toward commercial application. The speakers contributing to this event are knowledgeable, capable, and experienced in being new startups, and they share their business experiences with Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) students. This helps to provide direction and ideas that can further the students’ own concepts.

The project took place from April 26 to April 28, 2022, featuring knowledgeable speakers who gave lectures and led discussions, such as:

– “Inspiration in Doing Business” by Mr. Chanwit Rattanarasri, Director of the Innovation Infrastructure

– “Business and Marketing Techniques for Success” by Mr. Chonlawat Ruengrutjira, owner of the ancient charcoal-burned mango business Mae Tiaow Eiad and a managing committee member of Strat Profession Co., Ltd., a marketing consultant

– “Inspiration in Doing Business” by Mr. Thanet Petchsuwan, owner of the Rich Manor Farm

– “Pitching Presentation Techniques” by Mr. Pakornphan Khothchum, Office of Business Development and Innovation Clusters (BCD), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA)

– Topics like “Interesting Future Careers and Businesses,” “Creating a Business Plan (Business Canvas),” “Digital Marketing for Entrepreneurs,” and “Financial Management for Entrepreneurs” by Dr. Kulabutr Komenkul, Chief Strategy Officer of JWD Health Conex Co., Ltd.

– And a discussion on “Experience Sharing in Doing Business with Hide&Seek, Koenika, Daywork, Cricket Protein” by Mr. Apinan Mahasakdiswasdi, Mrs. Suksiri Ritthidej, Mrs. Sasivimol Saengjaew, and Mr. Tanaphum Muangiam.
