RMUTT Sky Expedition – Explore and Expand your Aviation Knowledge with BATC

‘RMUTT Aviation service students’ get real experience with ‘Bangkok Airways’

    Faculty of Liberal Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology (RMUTT) has forged a new partnership with Bangkokair Aviation Training Center (BATC), a flight school located at the Sukhothai Airport. Fortunately, RMUTT Aviation Service students will be able to register for flight training classes offered by BATC. The training course will offer professional pilot training program and provide students with comprehensive educational and practical experience in Aviation Service Industry.

    Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art, The President of RMUTT revealed that the Department of Aviation Service Industry, Faculty of Liberal Arts, built a strong partnership with Bangkokair Aviation Training Center (BATC), which is located at the Sukhothai Airport, in order to develop an innovative aviation program so-called, ‘RMUTT Sky Expedition – Explore and Expand your Aviation Knowledge with BATC that give students the education and skills in Aviation Service Industry they need to pursue in-demand career opportunities.

    RMUTT Sky Expedition program will be held for 14 days for the purpose of helping students learn different aviation skill sets to perform their future tasks efficiently including the following activities, ‘Aircraft General Knowledge’ activity, ‘Around the Airport Tour – Explore and Discover how the airport works’ activity as well as ‘Airport Terminal Control Tour’, ‘Sukhothai Airport Emergency Drill’, and ‘Exclusive visit of Cessna 172S NAV III Airplane before actual flight’. Moreover, students will also have their opportunity to take initial flight observations with pilot and enjoy flight simulator experiences. 

    Asst. Prof. Pongpith Tuenpusa, Vice President of Rajamangala University of Technology further added that not only had RMUTT Aviation Service students gained educational learning in university but also acquired experiential knowledge from establishments that could fulfil them theoretically and practically in terms of pursuing in-demand career opportunities in the world of Aviation Service Industry.
