Assoc. Prof. Dr. Numyoot Songthanapitak, the president of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), talked about the just-happening selection that “I would like to suggest the new government to seek out an appropriate minister of education who does not have only knowledge and abilities but also he/she must be able to continue carrying on existing works on educational matters immediately, not to learn about tasks again. In need, he/she must pay much attention on educational quality improvement in any educational levels because if one of them in the chain is bad, it also has negative effects on the others”

“Currently, Thailand has encountered with bad educational quality which it may be because of various factors. For all these factors, the new government must understand and acknowledge them. In my personal idea, I would really like to see the government to put much more efforts to the solution. If education in the nation is down, how Thai people will be able to compete with the others.” RMUTT president added.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuang Bhuntuvech, the president of Sunandha Rajabhat University also said that “the new government should put the educational matters into a national agenda and draw a roadmap for 10-20 years ahead so that who will be the next minister will be at least able to carry on the task continually. If Thailand can reform production of teachers in order to obtain the best role model, students will also become good.”
