Prof. Dr. Numyoot Songthanapitak, a president, Rajamangala University of Technology Thayaburi revealed that “the prevouis teacher recrutemnt has got the constrant of limoitation of salaries leading the problem of less teacher application. In accordance, the university council has solved the problem by increase the satffs’ salaries as extra bonus.” For the term of academic who graduated Ph.D. or Dr. will receive extraly 5,000 baht per a month but paying not over than 3 years after being recruited in order to rush up to place position for experience benefits for teachers (in case of having experience that would be benefit to the teaching, there will be useful to promote the level of position by the approvals of the committee). In addition, there will be extra bonuses for the academic positions such as 5,600 baht for Assistant to Professors, 9,900 baht for Associated to Professors and 13,000 baht for Professors.
Besides, after the official staff and university staff (teachers) have got the academic position, there will be another bonus for. Prof. will receive 100,000 baht, Assoc. Prof. 40,000 baht and Asst. Prof. 20,000 baht respectively which will be paid once at the first time. This issue has authoirized and notice officially form July 2010 on ward.
Moreover, RMUTT also rush to improve the ability of teachers by approving to study doctoral degree both in and out country for 106 and 28 people respectively. Hereby, the university also has 289 Assitant Professors and 31 Associated Professors. Lastly, Prof. Dr. Numyoot adds that he believes that the university will be able to develop the ability of university staff expeditiously.
