OHEC for inspecting – being standard for all universities.

Asst.Prof.Dr. Somchai Hiranwarodom, dean of Faculty of Engineering, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) mentioned that the policy which will be hurry up to set after he was promoted is to coordinate with Office of the Higher Education Commission: OHEC about Thai Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (TQF: HEd). This will be created aiming to standardize the degree of engineering in educational places. However, now, this is on the process of proposing to OHEC in order to certify and issue the regulation. As the result of this, the issue will be used as the standard for opening the field of study if the universities are interested in. This process is expected to be competed within 2-3 months. Nevertheless, the Qualifications Framework will be proposed to the minister of education after the issue was agreed by OHEC. Finally, it will be inked in The Royal Thai Government Gazette.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Somchai added that he will also urge the coordinate with dean council of engineering who will issue the career permission to control engineers about the cooperative networks among the councils and multinational engineers. This will cooperatively work to urge the students of engineer to know about languages and to be hurry on having the examination of career permission in order that they can work in other countries. In accordance, it is predicted there will be many competitions on desire of work as engineer in the future which it is as the result of free trade agreement.
