The AB U Robot contest at before final round was conducted by the cooperation of MCOT Public Company Limited, Vocational Education Commission and the Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan) on June 13, 2010. This program aimed to recruit Thai representatives to participate the Robot Competition in AB U Asia – Pacific Robot Contest in Cairo, Egypt. As the result of the contest, it is found that “The Omega 3” from Dhurakij Pundit University overcame “Origin VII” from Nakhonsithammarat Vocational College. For two teams who were among the final four were: “Ucaritus Team” from ทีมยูคาลิปตัส วิทยาลัย Kabin Buri Vocational College and “I RAP A coustic” King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. They will also participate as student visit in Egyp. Moreover, there are also other awards bestowed to participants in the contest as well such as Excellent Technique from “Love bot 2″ Uttaradit Technical College Excellent Inventor from “Kan Kao” Ubon Ratchathani University and Creative Excellence from Bio Nic Bot I (RMUTT).
